My Tooth Fell Out

Hi! I'm going to tell you about when my second tooth fell out.

In the morning, I went into my Mama and Daddy's room. I showed my Daddy how much my tooth wiggled with my tongue. My Daddy said, "Whoa, that's pretty loose! I bet that's going to come out soon!"

I went, "Ehh!" And there it was! My Daddy was surprised! My tooth was right on my tongue!

"Daddy, Daddy!" I cried. "Look at my tongue! My tooth fell out!" And he looked straight at my tongue.

"It did!" Daddy said.

I called Mama in, and Mama said, "Wow! You're going to get some money from the tooth fairy tonight!"

"Yep," I said and smiled. "I'm a big girl now."

Then it was time to get started for school. I went out from my Mama and Daddy's room to go get some breakfast. My Daddy made me a piece of bread that looked like a tooth. It was yummy. He also gave me a Pop Tart, and I loved it.

I smiled to my sister Charlotte when she woke up. Charlotte looked at the space in my mouth and said, "Your tooth fell out, Caroline."

"Get ready for school!" my Mama called. 'Okay!" I called back and said 'Good morning' to Charlotte, but ran to get dressed. When I had finished getting dressed, I went in to brush my teeth. My Mama told me, "Hurry up! School is starting soon!" and so I hurried up.

When I had finished brushing my teeth, I was ready to go to school, I was ready except for one thing: "Now get your boots on and hats on and mittens on" my Mama told me and Charlotte.

"I'm ready Mom!" I said when I was finished.

"Yes, you are ready to go to school," my Mama said.

We got in the car and drove to school. When I got into my classroom, I showed everybody my tooth that fell out. They said, "Wow!" and their mouths dropped open and their faces looked amazed.

That's all I'm going to tell you about, and I hope that when you read this again, you will feel like you lost a tooth yourself if you haven't.

Love,
Caroline
